My son, Juan, bought this for me last year for my anniversary. While my husband and I were gone to Daytona he took his birthday money and went shopping with Grandma. When he gave it to me he said it was so I would remember our anniversary trip to the 50th running of the Daytona 500. It sits on my computer desk so everyday I can look at it and remember how very blessed I am.

What I am reading or soon to be reading. I know I have quite a lot of these photos but one of my goals for the year is to read at least 52 books and taking a photo of what I am reading helps me track my progress.

It has been raining for the past few days and we are all getting a bit stir crazy. Hope decided she was going out to play in the rain yesterday. I caught her in the front yard sticking her lollipop in the raindrops coming off the porch.

We drug the girls' mattress into my office so we could watch an instant Netflix movie on my computer. They were horsing around after it was over so I decided to snap a few photos.

Busy, busy, busy that describes the past week perfectly. Between CT assignments, school, and running my household there has been precious little free time to post my 365s. So I carved out a little time this morning to catch up and hopefully I'll be back this evening with today's photo.

Day 41-43 "Catching Up Again"

Once again I'm running late. Please forgive me I've been lost in 18th century Scotland for the past few days. "Outlander" should come with a warning label stating you will spend every free moment you have with your nose stuck in the book. I managed to pull myself away this evening to dump my memory card and upload my pics.

My youngest son, Cole, went to bed with a full head of hair Tuesday and I woke up to this mess Wednesday morning. I keep most of the scissors put up but he does have access to his school scissors which I thought were too dull to do any damage. As you can see from his hair I was VERY wrong. I have no idea what possessed him to get up in the middle of the night to cut his hair.

A Tag

I have been tagged by Chris and Karen.
This is the tag I'm supposed to list six interesting things about me. Link back to the blog that tagged me: Chreamp's 365 Images and Karen I. 365 .

1. Saturday was my six year wedding anniversary. I believe the traditional theme/gift for the six year mark is candy or iron but not in this house.

We opted for Nascar and Chinese takeout.

2. I have lived in four states: Oklahoma, Ohio, Georgia, and Tennessee.

3. When I was a child I dreamed of becoming a high school history teacher. Although I did not take the path I dreamed of, I am fulfilling that dream through homeschooling my dc.

4. I am a voracious reader. I usually read several books at a time and often finish at least one a week.

5. Photography is one of my passions. I enjoy taking photos but I enjoy the post processing aspect just as much if not more.

6. I am and come from a long line of collectors/hoarders. My favorite things to collect are Bibles, books, and digiscrap supplies.

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I lead a rather normal boring life so I don't know how interesting any of these things really are.

I finished up "The Host" yesterday evening so it was time for a trip to one of my favorite places today. I could spend hours in the bookstore and easily spend way too much money but I did pretty well budgeting myself today. While browsing I found "The Belle Messenger" and "Outlander" has been on my to be read list for awhile so I went ahead and purchased it too.
