Day 11 A Frosty Self Portrait

Day 11 Frosty Self Portrait
I noticed this snowflake pattern on the back window of my truck and snapped a photo knowing it would be gone soon. It didn't turn out quite how I liked since I intended to use it as a texture but at least it made for a neat self portrait.

Day 10--K'Nex Success

Day 10- Fun with K'Nex
I've tried, without much success, to find toys to capture my youngest son's interest other than trains, planes, and automobiles. Today I finally talked him into trying the K'Nex set and he ended up loving it. His go to creations were still some type of transportation vehicles but at least we've got a start.

Day 9

day9
I had a long exposure shot planned for this evening but the sky didn't cooperate with me. This sent me scrambling for a shot late this evening. When I came inside I noticed the remnants of my son's change rolling session this evening and thought it would make an interesting photo.

Day 7--The Blizzard That Was Not

Day7--The view from my front porch
If you watched the local news ,or visited any grocery store completely sold out of milk and bread, you would have thought there was a massive blizzard headed our way. As of 6 p.m. this light dusting is all we had. While it made for a lovely subject for 365 it was hardly the winter storm they were calling for and will more than likely be completely gone by tomorrow afternoon.

Day 41-43 "Catching Up Again"

Once again I'm running late. Please forgive me I've been lost in 18th century Scotland for the past few days. "Outlander" should come with a warning label stating you will spend every free moment you have with your nose stuck in the book. I managed to pull myself away this evening to dump my memory card and upload my pics.

Day 42 *UH-OH*
Photobucket
My youngest son, Cole, went to bed with a full head of hair Tuesday and I woke up to this mess Wednesday morning. I keep most of the scissors put up but he does have access to his school scissors which I thought were too dull to do any damage. As you can see from his hair I was VERY wrong. I have no idea what possessed him to get up in the middle of the night to cut his hair.
