Day 53 Day 54 The trees are budding in our front yard. Day 55 My son, Juan, bought this for me last year for my anniversary. While my husband and I were gone to Daytona he took his birthday money and went shopping with Grandma. When he gave it to me he said it was so I would remember our anniversary trip to the 50th running of the Daytona 500. It sits on my computer desk so everyday I can look at it and remember how very blessed I am. Day 56 A flag outside my hubby's work. Day 57 What I am reading or soon to be reading. I know I have quite a lot of these photos but one of my goals for the year is to read at least 52 books and taking a photo of what I am reading helps me track my progress. Day 58 My husband and youngest son, Cole, wrestling. Day 59 It has been raining for the past few days and we are all getting a bit stir crazy. Hope decided she was going out to play in the rain yesterday. I caught her in the front yard sticking her lollipop in the raindrops coming off the porch. Day 60 We drug the girls' mattress into my office so we could watch an instant Netflix movie on my computer. They were horsing around after it was over so I decided to snap a few photos.
Busy, busy, busy that describes the past week perfectly. Between CT assignments, school, and running my household there has been precious little free time to post my 365s. So I carved out a little time this morning to catch up and hopefully I'll be back this evening with today's photo. Day 47 These are some older LOs I have hanging up in my office. I really need to get all of my newer LOs printed so I can update a bit. Day 48 Just me. Day 49 A bald eagle craft we did for school. Day 50 Magazines I am reading this week. Day 51 My youngest kiddos playing the Wii.
Once again I'm running late. Please forgive me I've been lost in 18th century Scotland for the past few days. "Outlander" should come with a warning label stating you will spend every free moment you have with your nose stuck in the book. I managed to pull myself away this evening to dump my memory card and upload my pics. Day 41 *Ivy* Day 42 *UH-OH* My youngest son, Cole, went to bed with a full head of hair Tuesday and I woke up to this mess Wednesday morning. I keep most of the scissors put up but he does have access to his school scissors which I thought were too dull to do any damage. As you can see from his hair I was VERY wrong. I have no idea what possessed him to get up in the middle of the night to cut his hair. Day 43 *Lil' Slugger* Cole playing baseball outside this evening sporting his new haircut.
I finished up "The Host" yesterday evening so it was time for a trip to one of my favorite places today. I could spend hours in the bookstore and easily spend way too much money but I did pretty well budgeting myself today. While browsing I found "The Belle Messenger" and "Outlander" has been on my to be read list for awhile so I went ahead and purchased it too.
Hi there. My name is Meg. I am a sinner saved by grace, a wife to my loving husband Jason, momma to Jake, Rach, Sean, Juan, Hope, and Cole, homeschool teacher to our youngest son, an extreme introvert, a bibliophile known to inhale all forms of the printed word, a hobby junkie with creative ADD, a costume drama aficionado, a rabid whovian, an avid Sherlockian, a lover of all things BBC, and a proud geek. Here, in my little corner of the web, I will share my musings about everyday life, thoughts on what I'm currently reading and watching, and various looks into my current creative passions and pursuits. I hope you enjoy your stay here and have a blessed day.
